Alex Cabrera is an accomplished Trumpet & Flugel Horn player from Los Angeles California. He studied with the late great lead trumpet player Cat Anderson of the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Alex has a great reputation in the music world as being a very powerful lead player with many recording and film credits to his name. Alex has shared the stage with such greats as George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic, Michael McDonald and REO Speedwagon to name a few. He has also met and performed for the President of the United States on several occasions.
Alex teaches by example and by doing so he will show where "The Power" of trumpet playing comes from. He is an advocate of flexibility and long tone methods. Alex is well known for his high range and very powerful sound which you can hear on his latest CD entitled "Latin Smooth" which is now heard through-out North America and on radio stations from New York to Los Angeles.
